Women Cell

In a Co-educational institution Women cell play an important role for sensitizing students regarding girls related problems. It aims to provide a platform for women to voice their thoughts and opinions and to share their experiences. Women cell supports by providing personal guidance, legal awareness on specific issues.

VISION

To create a platform where every women is respected and is able to achieve their potential, living free from harm and discrimination.

MISSION

Spreading awareness among the students about the social, legal and constitutional rights of women in order to prevent the exploitation based on gender.

OBJECTIVES

  • To develop the self confidence among women.
  • To guide women about welfare Laws.
  • To highlight the importance of health and hygiene.
  • To motivate the women and girls towards self protection and raise voice against all kinds of discrimination.
  • To help women students to understand their strength and potential.

ACTIVITIES

  • Interactive counseling of college girls by women cell committee members.
  • Posters showing women helpline number were pasted on the wall of college girl’s room.
  • International women’s day was celebrated on 8th March 2022. Teachers and students explained the theme of international Women’s Day.
