Name- The name of the association shall be as "JVC Alumni Association" (herein after referred to as JVCAA).
Aims and Objectives- The association shall be nonprofit, non-political and non-sectarian in nature with the following aims and objectives:
(A) To provide a forum for alumni and their families of the college for a get-together and promote educational, social and cultural activities.
(B) To promote annual or periodic (lecture/seminar/symposia) for the awareness of the students.
(C) To provide interaction among alumni to create career opportunities for the present students.
In pursuance of the aims and objectives of the association following activities are proposed:
1. Membership- The membership of the association shall be open to any person who was a student of the college. It shall remain open to all students who have completed their regular education (Graduation, P.G., Ph.D). Any individual paying one time an amount of Rs 1000 (one thousand) or the amount as prescribed by the executive committee. Principal, I.Q.AC., N.A.A.C., Teacher Association, and N.I.R.F. Coordinator shall be the Honorary members/Nominated of the Alumni Association. The fee structure is subject to revision by the executive committee if necessary in future.
2. Suspension and Termination of membership- The membership of any individual member shall be suspended or terminated if he/she is guilty of moral or criminal offence of the law. The executive committee can suspend or terminate the membership without approval of the general body.
3. Rights and Privileges- Every member of the association shall be bound by the rules and regulations of the constitution and decisions of the executive committee taken from time-to-time.
4. Executive Committee: The composition of the EC shall be as under:
(A) President - One
(B) Vice President - One
(C) Secretary - One
(D) Joint Secretary - One
(E) Treasurer - One
(F) Members - Two
(G) Nominated - Five (Principal/IQAC/NAAC/NIRF Convener/Teacher Association)
5. Duties of the office bearer-
1. President- The President shall preside over executive committee meetings and regulate proceedings. He/She shall manage and promote the aims and objectives of the association and supervise administration and general affairs. He/She shall decide the date, time and venue of meetings in consultation with the secretary.
2. Vice President- In absence of the president, the vice president shall exercise all powers and functions of the president. If both are absent, members may choose one among themselves to preside.
3. Secretary- The secretary will maintain all records (executive and general body minutes) and carry out administration work under the supervision of the president.
4. Joint Secretary- The joint secretary shall work with the secretary in all matters and perform duties in the absence of the secretary.
5. Treasurer- The treasurer shall be in charge of funds deposited in a scheduled bank. He/She will maintain income and expenditure records. The account shall be operated jointly by president and secretary. The treasurer shall prepare annual budget and statements, ensure audit once a year by an auditor appointed by executive committee.
One Peon cum fourth class person shall be hired daily basis @ Rs 250-00 for half day.
The executive committee shall appoint an election officer who will conduct the election. If valid nominations equal posts, candidates will be declared elected. If more, election shall be held in online/offline mode and candidate with most votes declared elected.
Dissolution of the association- If required, extraordinary general body meeting will adopt resolution. Association will stand dissolved if adopted by third majority. Assets will go to Janta Vedic College, Baraut (Baghpat).
The office of the association shall be located within the premises of the Janta Vedic College, Baraut (Baghpat).
