IIC

The Ministry of Education has formed the Innovation Cell (MIC) to encourage higher education institutions to innovate. In 2018, MIC, in partnership with AICTE, introduced the Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) programme for Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) to foster innovation. Each of the participating institutes was given the task of establishing an IIC and carrying out the stipulated activities.
MIC's main goal is to encourage, motivate, and nurture young students by assisting them in developing new ideas and prototypes while they are still in their formative years. As per university, notification in the year 2022, college has established the Institution Innovation Council (IIC), comprised of 5 different committees i.e.,innovation, start up, internship, IPR, and social media.

Aims and Agenda of Internship Committee: Internship provides an opportunity to have an experience based learning. It translates the theoretical knowledge of any skill based programme into experimental learning in order to enhance the professional abilities and develop the professional identity. Aims and agenda of the Internship committee include the encouragement of students to take part in internship opportunities, disseminate information related to internship opportunities, creating awareness among students on the importance of internship.
