The Women Cell of Janta Vedic College, Baraut, remained committed to its vision of empowering female students, promoting gender equality, and ensuring a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for women throughout the academic session 2024–25. Under the guidance of the Principal, IQAC Coordinator and active coordination of faculty members, several impactful activities were conducted that left a lasting impression on the student community. From legal awareness to cyber safety, from health seminars to cultural celebrations — the cell's multifaceted approach addressed the real-world challenges faced by women while fostering a spirit of confidence and self-reliance among students.
A lecture focused on constitutional and legal rights of women was held during the orientation program, with participation from legal academicians. Over 100 students attended and actively engaged in the Q&A session.
Orientation ProgramUnder Mission Shakti Phase 5, a seminar educated 40 students on personal hygiene, oral hygiene, scalp hygiene, and the role of probiotics in maintaining overall health.
Mission Shakti 5.0A joint session by Women Cell and NSS under Mission Shakti 5.0 educated 60 female students about cyber crimes — phishing, stalking, job fraud, loan app scams — and digital self-protection strategies.

Speech CompetitionAn essay contest encouraged students to express thoughts on women's empowerment, self-reliance, and leadership roles. Prizes were awarded to top performers.
Essay CompetitionA powerful street play was performed by students to raise awareness against the dowry system and promote social change within the community.
Street PlayIn collaboration with local law enforcement, students were educated on women's safety, helpline numbers (1090, 181, 1930), and the critical importance of reporting crimes.
Law Enforcement CollaborationThemed "Colors of Holi, Dreams of Women," the event featured eco-friendly Holi activities, inspiring speeches, poetry recitation, ramp walks, and felicitation of women achievers.
Annual CelebrationThe Women Cell provided confidential support and counseling throughout the year for any student in need of help or guidance, ensuring a safe space for all.
