Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT) promotes practical, innovative and activity-based Physics education through experimental learning centres known as Anveshika.
Anveshikas function under the National Anveshika Network of India (NANI). The first centre was established in Kanpur in 2001 and the network now includes nearly 28 centres across India.
The network is coordinated by Dr. H. C. Verma, one of India's most respected physicists.
Established in 1984 by Dr. D. P. Khandelwal, IAPT works towards improving Physics education through teacher training, innovation, Olympiad examinations and experimental learning.
