Prof. (Dr.) Sheesh Pal Singh, a distinguished botanist with 25 years of experience, serves as Professor and Head of the Department of Botany & Industrial Microbiology at Janta Vedic College, Baraut, Uttar Pradesh. Holding an MSc, NET, CIC, and PhD, he is a Fellow of the Linnaean Society, London. Dr. Singh has published 13 papers, 8 books, and 2 book chapters, supervised 4 PhD students, and added 11 plant species to the Flora of Haryana and Shamli District. A recipient of a State Honour for Teaching, he is actively involved in academic bodies, including the Indian Botanical Society and IUCN, and has contributed 327 plant species observations to iNaturalist databank .
